Description

Freight trucks are much different than the regular UPS Ground trucks. They are usually too large for smaller streets. Residential streets that are too small or do not provide a safe turn around large enough for the truck may be declined for direct delivery. In this case, the package will be held at the nearest hub to you and you will be contacted for pickup.

Lift gate services are only useful for items under 84". Do not waste money on the lift gate if your package might exceed this length.

Appointments are great if you have a limited schedule. The driver may even offer to meet you in a large parking lot near you to make the off load easier.
